Happy Mother's Day!

I finally truly understand Mother’s Day. Being a mom is seriously incredible, but seriously the hardest thing on the planet. Enter, the necessity of Mother’s Day to keep us sane. Ha! Mother’s Day was just an amazing, glorious day for us – especially me! Joey and Gavin let me sleep in and surprised me with Starbucks in the morning and a little gift. We headed to Grandma Corkery’s to celebrate her over lunch, then came home and potted flowers in the afternoon. That evening we got to give hugs to Grandma Jane and drop off her gift, and then had dinner and a nice, relaxing evening. The cherry on top of an already fantastic day? Warm, summer weather…80 degrees and sunny. Absolutely perfect. We attempted to take a few fun Mother’s Day pictures for our scrapbook, but Gavin wasn’t feeling too camera friendly, so I’ve included a few other photos from the last few weeks to make up for them. Hope all of the great mom’s out there had a wonderful Mother’s Day!

So not into this. Ha!
