5 Months!

I cannot believe our baby is actually almost SIX months old! Time real flies. In Gavin's fifth month, our main excitement was the 13 hour trip (each way) and 2 glorious days in Malibu (Canada) for Young Life Discipleship Camp. Joey was actually up at Malibu two weekends in a row, the weekend before Discipleship he was up with Bumpa Jim for Men's Weekend, so in total, Joey travelled 52 hours in two weekends for 4 full days up at Malibu. Is it worth it, you ask? Absolutely. I wish the pictures did Malibu justice, but they just don't. I included some anyway, just for fun.

Gavin is starting to develop a personality, and he loves being around people. He is just super smily and sweet when he's in a crowd. Then he saves all the fussiness for Joey and I at home. :) Needless to say, surrounded by close to 400 people up at Malibu was an absolute joy for him. He loved it. Autie Lissy (Melissa) came as his nanny, WITH a torn ACL...now that's love...and he was mostly good to her. Other than when it was bedtime. Which is normal. :)

Also, I included a video from when I was doing his 5 month photo shoot. Pretty cute.

Finally, Gavin is army crawling. At 5 1/2 months old. Lord, help us. He's scooting from one side of the room to the other. Super cute, but also super scary. And the baby proofing begins....

Below are some fun pics of his 5 month photos and time up at Malibu. 6 month posting coming soon!
