| Baby Boy West, 20 Weeks! |
A lot has happened in the past few weeks! Two weeks ago we had our 20 week ultra sound, and along with learning our baby is healthy and strong, we found out we are having a boy! So exciting. Joey was immediately pumped (even though he sort of wanted a girl) and I felt like I just learned I was pregnant all over again, so it took me a few days to process and get pumped with him. Since, then we've been given quite a few adorable little boy gifts, started painting the baby room, thinking of names...and all of it has made the news so much more fun!
Grandma Corkery also took us out and we picked out our crib bedding fabric, which she is going to sew for us! This is a bad picture from my iphone, but you get the idea!

| 20 weeks - he's the length of a banana! |
Pregnancy has also gotten much more real since I started showing! No longer do I look like I just had a big lunch all the time. At 20 weeks, Baby West was the length of a banana, at 21 weeks, the length of a carrot, and now he is 22 weeks and the length of a spaghetti squash. It seems like every few days I get noticeably bigger, so I will have to take some more photos and post them soon! Also, Baby West has started kicking and punching me often. Joey says this is because he is going to be a soccer player. We will see!
Some of you may have heard, we did have one small scare - I fainted while grocery shopping but got checked out and everything was okay. A mixture of exhaustion, low iron, not enough food that day, etc. Learned my lesson and am eating small meals throughout the day, taking iron pills and eating more red meat.

As for other news, baby went on it's first hike with 17 high school ladies & leaders on our first "Girl's Getaway" up in the mountains with Young Life. It was super fun, but the hardest hike I have ever done. Non-preggo hiking is definitely preferred. Joey also went on a three day hike/backpacking adventure with Young Life this weekend, and had a blast!
We're relaxing this Sunday before a crazy, but exciting week! Our best friends Sabrina and Garrett get married a week from today and we get to stand with them as part of their bridal party, and a week after that we leave for Cabo! This is our first real vacation since our honeymoon and we are so ready to go! Thanks to our friends the Odman's, Nishimoto's and many others, it was made possible that we could go. It has been pretty amazing to receive such an incredible gift, and we are looking forward to this last getaway before baby..a Babymoon, if you will!
